The Acorn Press

Established in 1994, the Acorn Press has a mandate to encourage the literary culture of Prince Edward Island by publishing “Books about Prince Edward Island by Prince Edward Islanders.”

We have a reputation for books of cultural and literary significance to Prince Edward Island, with several prize-winning titles.

We combine high editorial standards with design and printing to craft fine books of poetry, fiction, history, folklore, wellness and literature for children.

We partner with Nimbus Publishing (www.nimbus.ca) for distribution and our books can be found internationally and throughout Canada in local book shops.
