Yvette Doucette is an award-winning poet, memoirist, and performer. Her first book of poetry, How I Connect to You, is being published this year by Acorn Press. Her performance poetry has been commissioned by CBC (Poetry Face-Off), and her poetry chapbook, In a Burst of Yellow Blossoms, was published by Saturday Morning Chapbooks. She is the recipient of numerous PEI literary awards, including the Award for Distinguished Contribution to the Literary Arts and the inaugural Island Literary Award for Young Writers Service. Yvette lives in Charlottetown, Epekwitk/Prince Edward Island.
