D. Scott MacDonald,a native of Charlottetown, attended West Kent School, Queen Charlotte High and Prince of Wales College. His  early career was in banking and for the last 25 years he was an in-house accountant for various firms. Although recently retires, Scott is actively involved in Zion Presbyterian Church and the Seniors Active Living Centre. He lists his interests as golf, bridge as well as other card games, and woodworking. Scott wrote a history of Zion Presbyterian Church in 1997.  He is married to Cathy [nee Andrews and lives in Stratford.
