HOT OFF THE PRESS FROM ACORN PRESS!
On Wednesday, February 17, 12:00-1:00 pm, SAGE will hold a "brown-bag lunch" session at the Confederation Centre Public Library in Charlottetown. This is to celebrate the distribution to PEI's public libraries of their book, Beyond Silence: Voices of Childhood Sexual Abuse, as part of Family Violence Prevention Week. SAGE members will read passages from Beyond Silence, as well as speak to the process of writing the book, prevention through education, and partnerships in the community.
CBC Radio's "The Next Chapter," hosted by Shelagh Rogers, features an interview with author Lorne Elliott on Monday, February 15 (early afternoon time slot). It will be repeated on the following Saturday, February 20. Be sure to tune in!
